Continuing on the mission she and her late husband Michael A.J. Farrell had for advancing education, Mary founded FARR Ed in February 2017. In addition to FARR Ed, Mary currently serves on the board of JerseyCAN, Mount Saint Mary’s Academy, Wake Forest University and co-founded The Maeve Foundation. Previously, Mary was involved with Oratory Preparatory School and was one the early founders of the Area Baby Center in Summit, New Jersey.  Before pursuing her philanthropic interests and starting her family, Mary held positions in corporate bond sales for Smith Barney and retail sales at Cantor Fitzgerald.  

Prior to joining FARR Ed, Michael was a Vice President at Annaly Capital Management, Inc. He worked on the mortgage bond trading desk during his time there and held various positions; most recently he was the trader for 15 Year and Adjustable Rate Agency-backed mortgages. In 2017, Michael became a CFA® charterholder. Previously Michael was a member of the board of trustees at Oratory Prep in Summit, NJ from 2014-17 and is currently a board member of the Kate Shea Foundation, a charitable enterprise that provides funds for cancer research and education. 

Ron has over 25 years financial service experience in capital markets activities including structuring and marketing public company share issuances, developing public and private investment vehicles and managing asset management platforms. Prior to joining FARR Ed, Ron was a Managing Director at Annaly Capital Management, Inc. for 12 years. Before Annaly, Ron held various roles within the financial services practices of FBR & Co. and Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. In addition to his duties at FARR Ed, Ron holds board/advisory board positions for several financial service and financial technology firms. Ron is also a member of the board of trustees for America’s Grow-a-Row, a not-for-profit farm in Pittstown, NJ. 

Prior to joining FARR Ed, Rose-Marie was the Chief Portfolio Officer at Annaly Capital Management, Inc. Rose-Marie was at Annaly for 16 years where she held various positions involved in financing, trading and investing capital across several different investment platforms. Prior to Annaly, Rose-Marie worked at PNC Bank in the Middle Market Lending division.  In addition to FARR Ed, Rose-Marie is involved in a number of philanthropic organizations including being the Treasurer of the New Jersey Festival Orchestra.
